TUALATIN, Oregon - The elite eight have made their way to Tualatin Country Club, where the top eight golfers in the Oregon Amateur, Women’s Oregon Amateur, and the Oregon Senior Women’s Amateur have punched their ticket to the quarterfinals.
Friday will feature both the quarterfinals and semifinals, with rain forecasted. Whoever advances to the Championships on Saturday will play 36 more holes, with more rain in store on Saturday.
Zach Foushee continued through to the quarterfinals on his quest for a threepeat at the 116th Oregon Amateur Championship. Foushee will face his friend and former Oregon Duck teammate Robbie Ziegler, who won the Oregon Amateur in 2018.
“It’s going to be a fun battle,” Foushee said about the matchup with Ziegler. “He’s a great friend, my four-ball partner and obviously a great golfer.”
Foushee and Ziegler made it to the Quarterfinals together at the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball in May.
Brock Maulding and Cole Rueck will face each other, while Nilay Naik and Jennings Oelke will battle at a spot in the semifinals, along with Taylor Klopp and Jonathan Lai of Bend, Oregon.
Oregon Women’s Amateur Quarterfinals

Gretchen Johnson and Madeline Conser will face off and former Oregon Women’s Amateur Champion (2023) Kyra Ly from Oregon State women’s golf team will face Amanda Jacobs.
